My parent's started this coffee adventure when I was just two years old.
It all began 35 years ago on Smith Street, fuelled by a dream to create something extraordinary. With a passion for the perfect cup of coffee and hippy roots grounded in sustainability, they set out on a mission. Back then, I was a lively little whirlwind, joyfully adding my own spark of chaos to the adventure.
This community didn’t just shape us; it fuelled Jasper Coffee’s journey too. For 35 years, we’ve thrived here, driven by an obsession for sourcing and sharing the most extraordinary coffee from across the globe. Every cup tells a story, every bean a new adventure. And through it all, we’ve been lucky to share this passion with our neighbours, our friends, and you.
What started on Smith Street many moons ago as a small coffee business run by two artists in love (Mez and Wells, my mum and dad) now calls Brunswick Street home.
We have have grown over the years with friends from all over the globe coming by year in and year out.
A magical shop full of friendly faces, exceptional coffees, unique gifts, and even a secret courtyard café. It’s a reflection of the local spirit we love so much, with brick work walls and heritage street lights arching over as you saunter through its timeless beauty.
The team have made this place into a magical Christmas hall, full of treats from all over the globe, and some beautiful local pieces to gift.

Our journey has been about more than just coffee.
We’ve worked tirelessly to make an impact, whether through our partnership with the Hama Cooperative in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, alongside World Vision, improving water access and livelihoods, or supporting farmers in Honduras and Peru through sustainable practices and direct relief funding for families and coffee growers.

I’m proud of the recognition our coffees have earned, like Juliet, our rich, creamy blend that won the Champion trophy - Best Organic Coffee Award at the Royal Adelaide Coffee Show in 2024.
Just in time for the festive season, we’ve created Santa’s Fancy Christmas Blend, a sweet, spicy, and magical brew perfect for holiday mornings or cosy evenings with friends. It is something truly special.
